bad news...
🕑 Added 2018-11-01 18:45:02 +0000 UTC Looks like my computer has died for good.Was playing a game and it started lagging so i exited the game, it was still lagging so i restarted then it lagged so much it became unresponsive so i had to force a restart, it booted but was very slow, couldn't even search for system restore in the search bar, had to again face restart now its a black screen.
I don't know how long I'm gonna be down for, i do have a back up computer but its in a studio at the moment.
Notice for all: Don't buy gigabyte laptops, mine has sucked since i got it.

final update: It won't let me reset, something is obviously seriously wrong with it so I'm going to call it quits. hopefully i'll be back tomorrow with my other computer.

Good luck Ivan You call it a gigabyte computer? Is that the brand? That usually just references memory capacity of any given system.

managing to pull data off it at least, gonna get everything off it that's valuable then do a PC reset, hopefully that will work.

yeah i have a place right around the corner from me, but I'm just trying to see if there's anything i can do or try and get the website i bought it from to fix it for free as even diagnostics can cost £120

That's really unfortunate to hear. Do you have any local repair shops that could at least diagnose it or give an estimate?
