There's a (popular?) theory that Ditto and OMG tell 2 sides of the relationship between fans and idols. Ditto is from a fan's point of view. With current social media trends, large amount of contents idols put out for their fans, and many ways people can interact with their favorite idol, it is easy for a fan to lose themselves and think that idols are their friends and everything about their lives. The MV is just a reminder for fans not to forget to also live and enjoy their lives while letting kpop and idols be positive additions to those instead. OMG is from an idol's perspective. A lot of people are expected a lot from and idols. They are supposed to completely devote themselves for their fans (hence Hanni's monologue at beginning about being everything for her fans). It is also easy for idols to lose themselves listening to media portrayal, fan comments, or becomes extremely narcissistic. The MV is a reminder to everyone that idols are also human, with their own thoughts, flaws, and identities. Of course, they're other interpretations but I like this the most.

I only listened to it the once with subtitles when it came out. Listening to it without, it does actually sound pretty catchy. But no, can't divorce myself from the meaning to really enjoy it. Pity because with age appropriate lyrics, it would really have potential to be a bop.
