That's right! Mark hasn't seen this yet. I've sent this off to him now for his approval. You never know... he might not like it, and he might make me change bits... and if he does, you'll see what they are in a day or two. But he won't see it for ages, because he's got a proper job. And no one else (apart from you brilliant brilliant people) will see it for ages either.

Actually it varies, with the most common in my experience being one month. More than 3 months notice period indicates a senior and/or business critical position.

@ 3:04 a straight line on the Mercator projection is not a straight line on a sea! It has constant bearing, but you need to turn all the time to follow it. Of course, you can define "straight" as "constant bearing", but i think "no-turning" is much more reasonable.

Loved the episode! So much so that I kind of hoped for more. You can probably get a whole another episode out of this topic, half explaining what the world looks like and half exploring ways to portray it flat.
