Development Update - 22nd of March 25

A lot of what we're doing is still fixing and improving things. However, we are also moving forward with preparations for Realm 4.
For Realm 4, we have 36 scenes "blocked out" of 61. We previously mentioned this, but these are low-quality images with initial posing, without facial expressions, to get a feel for the scene's flow, which we can then test as we code the game.
As with previous Realms, the scene sizes vary largely. Some scenes will be under 100, but scene 45, for example, contains almost 300 renders and five animations.
We've done a good chunk of work on some "SFW" animations, but as it takes us a lot of time to fix, finalise, light and render them, we will need to go through everything to determine which animations are necessary and if we need to leave any out in the interest of time, and getting updates out promptly. We need to find the right balance between putting in a lot of content and not stretching out the development too long.
While the team has been working on all this, Tae has jumped ahead to get a head start on writing Realm 5. She's been enjoying this, and while there is still a lot of it to write, she's made good progress this week.
Even though it hasn't been two months since our last release, it's been hard for us not to release a new update. We know it will be worth the work everyone is putting into it, and we're happy with how our team is working together. It's been humbling for Tae and me to realise that we were less prepared than we thought, but fortunately, our team is working hard to get everything together. It's time-consuming, but we're getting there!
We've shared environment images here to show more concretely some of the enhancement work we've been doing. This specific scene is the Mermaid Realm Door / surrounding beach area. We've put it through several iterations. This is still a work in progress, but I think it already helps demonstrate the enhancements we are trying to make.

Ngl I still didn't play the last part of realm3 and the side paths but I know that everything you deliver since I joined here was worth the wait so keep the amazing work, I get my copy on steam and I love the rewards here as well (I use the images as my desktop wallpaper XD), thanks for the update and hope too see more soon
