What Do We Want From a Star Wars Movie (Part II)
🕑 Added 2020-02-21 03:16:40 +0000 UTCOkay now I'm done making video about Star Wars forever bye
For real, though, I worked really, really hard to get everything I wanted to say into this one video. We pulled out all the stops for this one. And it turned out to be so complicated it required an extra week to make.
Enjoy! I'm going to sleep forever now!

You do the funniest, most thoughtful, and most visually arresting video essays I've ever seen. Love the High Fidelity & Say Anything homages. Thanks for sharing, Patrick; your passion for film has enriched my perspective greatly, and this video is the latest example of why you're great.

Watching this was strangely cathartic. I'm kinda just DONE with Star Wars the same way I'm DONE with the MCU. It makes me sad, but it's not worth being/staying angry about. There's an entire world (universe?) of media out there to discover, and wallowing in despair over what has become of Star Wars just seems like a poor use of anyone's time.
I'm hitting reload video and ripping off the knob. This was balanced, mature, well-told, and . . . . happens to perfectly align with my views. :) “The best books, [Winston] perceived, are those that tell you what you know already.” -- 1984, Orwell

This video spoke to me way more than I expected it to. I found myself actively nodding at the TV as each point was being raised.
Oh man, hearing about that leaked Colin Trevorrow kinda breaks my heart. A glimpse into another universe of what the new Star Wars could have been.

I will never not like a High Fidelity reference, and I definitely did not expect one here. Thank you :)
Really great! Excellent work, and I'm glad you're watching Clone Wars!
