This one is a little bit different.
For one, it's NOT part of the ongoing season. There's no narrative, it's not canon, and the format is different.
I actually wrote this last April to make as one of the Nebula Classes, then we decided to change our plan so I made a different class (How To Make a Movie) and held onto this to make as a regular video at some point. And that point is now.
So this is, like I said, a class. My goal here was to cram an entire year of college Film Studies into one 80-minute class, and to do it all by discussing one single movie: HOME ALONE.
So we get into how to decipher a movie's themes, all the components of cinematic language, auteur theory and much, much more.
Anyway watch this and then you can all go put me out of a job. Enjoy!!!

Honestly, this is the best video that you've done. Great work.
Could your next video be "How to analyze videos about how to analyze movies?" I just want to make sure I get everything out of this one.

Love it, I know it's a whole lot of work but I really like this reminder to watch the details.
