Sort of. This is actually real to life. Sometimes kids don't get the advice from parents that would work for them, either due to personality differences or due to the fact they don't see things the way their parents do.

YEAH, I feel like they all got good advice but not the *right* advice: Rotating the parents here would probably be in their best interests. But hey, that's what AUs are for! :V

Eternal joy this gives me. Vrissy's definitely seems like the one that didn't really gel with her though, doesn't seem like her advice type, I feel like she would've been far more ready for Jane's advice. Tavvy would've probably preferred Kanaya's I'm guessing.
