Construction worker here.. at least at my job we can’t say anything unless someone talks to us first. We have a code word of a baddie walking by. To save lawsuits they taught us you’re not allowed to look at them for more than 3 seconds🙄

Children’s book author from the previous episode’s comments🙋🏽‍♀️ Acclaimed? No🥲 NYT best seller? Really hard to do w children’s books unless published through a publisher (im self published) Kids or adults can review. My books are for kids 7-12 (educational, traveling series / an empowerment book) so capable of talking about whether or not they liked the book, and I’ve definitely heard from many! However primarily adults review - parents, grandparents, teachers, child care providers, etc essentially saying whether or not it’s good for kids Hard to write a childrens book? I’d say no, but I’ve definitely read not so good ones and it depends on the person (if you’re interested in writing one, hmu - puberty/realistic learning about your body books could be a hit - Stiff Pages: a coming of age puberty book written by the Stiff Socks Pod😉) however they are very hard to market since there’s SO many books out there and your ideal reader isn’t your ideal customer (kids can’t buy books)
