I don't know why I'm so surprised that the strange internet man with the trabant has chickens considering I'm a strange... myself with an AE86 (& other cars) and chickens. But what an exciting development!

I would strongly recommend you use cattle panels to reinforce the chicken wire/hardware cloth to keep out dogs. They will walk right through the thin wire. Also unless you weather sealed the coop, they’re not going to suffocate. Chickens do need a dirt/sand box to clean themselves.

As we, in the backyard chicken business say, the first egg costs upwards of $1000 but after that, they're free.

Those two vents act as air exhausts since heated air rises up, and the door acts as a duct for fresh (colder) air. However: when the door is closed, do the little birdies get enough fresh air? Should you add a fresh air vent to the door, so that they get new air when door is closed? (assuming you close it for a period of time) I heard somewhere that chickens require lots of fresh air, but that might be chickens grown for meat, and in much larger structures where there are more birds, less space and more poop and antibiotics. But I'd still look into a co2 wifi thingy for remote monitoring of temp and air quality. Anyway, turned out to be one cool coop!
