This is a brilliant question, the All-Mother does feel emotions, just in a different way to us. There is no biological/evolutionary imperative for her to feel or display emotions so the way she experiences them is incomprehensible to the human mind.

I just had a thought. Does the all mother feel love? Emotions are a powerful tool. We don't just have them as some primitive holdover. they are tools for us. sadness lets others know we need help. anger is what we feel when we think something is unfair. Love is a powerful motivator to protect and care for important individuals. Did the all mother see the usefulness of emotions and program herself and her imperium to love one another?

I just wanted to say I'm in love with your art. It's such a refreshing take on aliens and I'm huge fan of Giger and his work, I see the inspiration. A story critique/question: why does this scout boi need to fly anywhere to communicate with Mother? I got the impression her consciousness spans the galaxy.
