So..... further before the Imperium, we already ended up augmenting ourselves to the point we are more less to our human characteristics. And what the malevolent AI did is just complete that cycle or fully achieve it? How sad and symbolic for us, if All - Mother, being birthed from our hands, does basically our spitting image. Being human.
