Mine is just about enough to handle the 22hd (not sure how heavy it is exactly), but I attached the arm to the front of the table instead, so I can have the tablet above air and coming lower than the table, that way it's on a suitable height to work with in a natural position + its not on the way of keyboard and mouse. That solution requires a really sturdy and heavy table too, othewise the table can actually fall over (has also happened).

+1 for the metal arm vesa compatible, I also tried this solution ( <a href="http://www.davidrevoy.com/article102/ergotron-lx-arm-for-cintiq" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.davidrevoy.com/article102/ergotron-lx-arm-for-cintiq</a> ) Mine was a bit too weak with time to handle the 12Kg of the 21UX. But it was better than the original stand for sure. Good to know the 22HD screen is better about darkness, and also they kept the VESA compatible holes. I'll keep an eye on this model :)

I wouldn't call the 22HD lightweight (it's not comfy to hold on lap, I tried), but it's definately not dark or too hot and it's quite precise, the major issue is that the backlighting isn't too smooth... and the stand is still horrifying. Thankfully you can buy a proper one to replace that, atleast this 22HD has vesa compatibility. I have one like this: <a href="http://viabel.fi/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/TC500.jpg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://viabel.fi/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/TC500.jpg</a> - I'd say it's pretty much nessecary to get for daily work, otherwise the wacom stand will slowly destroy your back and also arms (this is why I've tried to hold this tablet on my lap out of desperation, before I found the nice arm-thing).

@Neotheta: Aww ... Adorable cats :-3 . Yes, I love the Intuos3A4, the Cintiq21UX screen was an horror : 1600x1200px very large ; hot, and dark ( going darker and darker with time ). Very red too, so even darker after a proper calibration. The 22HD sounds to be a better device, more thin, lightweight. Cintiq are still attractive to me. I'm really curious to test newer model with better screen, more resolution and thinner/light case.

Oh wow, your work enviorment sounds so similar! Cats!! I also have intuos3 A4, it's probably the best tablet from wacom (the newer models are horrible, keep good care of yours!) But I use my cintiq 22hd for work, I draw faster directly on screen eventhough the screen is errr.. lets say not as good as it should be. The internal alim 'burned' on episode 6, the long one about the potion challenge. I replaced the Cintiq21UX with another Philips screen 224E , similar to the main one on the photo. It's not a tablet , but just another 1920x1080 cheap screen and it is surprisingly good and possible to color calibrate with a proper device for a 130€ screen. I still use my old ( almost 10 years old ) Intuos 3 A4 tablet, mapped proportionally to the first screen. That's how I'm the more productive. Of course, the secret devices are the cats. ;-)
