Bonus: Pencil artwork of the 'School of Hippiah'
🕑 Added 2016-07-13 18:11:32 +0000 UTC Hi patrons! I'm already working on the future episode 18 and this time I wanted to work on a special episode featuring Pepper as a children. I built my story around a 'flashback' to be able to show the past. This flashback and story structure was inspired by a proposed scenario : "Visit from Hippiah" by Craig Maloney. My derivative result is now far from his story due to many rewrites, cuts and corrections but it was a good help and inspiration to work with it. For episode 18, I also wanted to go a bit more narrative so I had to compact a bit more panels into the seven pages. It's a long story for the usual format of Pepper&Carrot and so: another production challenge for me. About the theme, I'll introduce in this future episode the magic of Hippiah for the first time ( the 'green' magic of the world of Pepper&Carrot, more infos on the wiki ). That's why I drew the 'School of Hippiah' (see attachment/image linked to this post). I started this artwork as a concept-art for my pre-production period but I'll finally use it in the comic as a panel. I hope you'll like it! I'll think a bit more in opening content, artworks and provide reward as 'price' for the winners. Your ideas of drawing with my comic style is fun! Mr. David, I'd like to give a suggestion; I don't really point out about the perspective, but after you fixed it; would you like to make it like a 'contest' for us, your backers. What I'm trying to say; some of us might be artists that love your work and backed you out of the blue. So is it good enough for us to 'contribute more' by using our talents to paint or color your image (of course courtesy of yours) and then post it. You shall be the judge. The prize could be vary from drawing our selfie with your own Pepper style or our pet with your Carrot style or anything! At least, it's given us an opportunity to show our love to your artworks! ^^

Hi! thank *you* for the support and for the feedback! You are right: the perspective is 'off' and that's a mistake. I will fix it later with Krita's deform tools, thanks for the help!

Lovely picture. The perspective of the building seems a little odd to me, though. They seem like the are uneven, like they are lower to their left. Not quite sure how to write it in English. I'm no expert, but I think this could be fixed by rotating the buildings to the right a little. The corners of the building in the center of the image should be vertical. And I wanted to say again that I really love your work. Thank you so much for creating this wonderful comic for us.
