🕑 Added 2022-08-27 19:33:40 +0000 UTCThanks to our Patreons, after a week trying solutions to make this script possible to be used easily from anyone with the compatible hardware, we present to you, CEB Easymocap Monocular.
This addon makes extremely easy to create an animation from a single video.
To create an animation (considering that you already download the third party files needed) you need to follow these 6 steps:
- Select a Project folder
- Select a video to get transform into 3d animation
- Save the blend file (with the video and project folder selected)
- Click on Extract Keypoints
- Click on Generate Mocap
- Click on Import SMPL
And the funny part is that they are all simple steps.
Observation
As it uses a single video, its expected that the final animation have some flaws, what I've noticed is mostly a skew on the animation. But depending on the angle you are going to use, probably you can use the animation with few tweaks or no tweak at all.
