Drak here, I have this specific shipping dynamic I really love, involving Norael with a big beautiful intimidating yandere guy who loves fighting. So I asked Llama if he wanted to make a character for me and as always he knocks it out of the park! We did go back and forth on some of the design elements like the chest piece and his hair, but it was all worth it.
He also wields this weapon called a Slade:
Llama here: It's a weapon that symbolizes the technological progress that the Loftland Kingdom has in comparison to others. A re-enforced blade made to withstand high temperatures housed with it's own fuel generated furnace. Weapons like these melt through rock, scale, iron and steel.
Drak & Llama here: Just FYI Norael is still paired with Gullin but we wanted to play with a AU where Nor meets this guy instead of Gull and explore him in that setting(he still exists in the primary universe), leading to a bad end what-if for Nor. (Gull's the light of her life 🥺)

Overview
Reverich is a cloned warrior and dragon hunter, engineered by the theocratic kingdom of Lóthrenzhal to carry multiple Soul Crowns, elusive gemstones of great power, too volatile for even the strongest of mortals to wield. He was created to serve, obey, and uphold the kingdom’s legacy, but what drives him isn't duty or loyalty.
He longs to feel something real.
Backstory
Reverich Verbeist Altazimuth V is the latest in a long line of clones of the revered Arch-Regent Verbeist I, grown from the severed limbs of the previous version of himself.
Only fragments of memories carry over: muscle memory, instinct, skill, but with each iteration something is lost as he strays further from the original man, like a twisted game of telephone through flesh.

Each new clone is engineered to carry one more soul crown than the last, a living vessel refined for power. But it is the Hollow Mantle, the golden relic grafted into his armor, that lets Reverich subdue their immense power without being consumed. To attain this complex artifact his very heart was traded, leaving a gaping hole in his chest, but with this sacrifice he became their ultimate weapon.
What they fail to notice is with each crown and each battle, Reverich finds himself hollow and bereft of true purpose, haunted by the voices of his past selves echoing in his head.

Ruthless - Unrelenting in battle and duty.
Yearning - Desires connection and meaning.
Stoic - Endures pain without complaint.
Predatory - Instinctively drawn to hunt and dominate.
He doesn’t care for legacy, thrones, or the old man he was cloned from. He was made to serve Lóthrenzhal, but he only feels alive in the heat of battle, when the voices are drowned out and his body remembers what it means to burn, break, to be unmade in a blaze of glory.

Thank you!! And hell yeah, that's definitely the kind of vibe we wanted to evoke 😤😤😤 (oh god i wrote a lot) Reverich admires Nor's power and brutality. She challenges him and he wants to test her, see her go full out. It's not romantic at first, but as they continue to fight she sparks more feelings in him, making the battle-high he's chasing more intense. On Nor's end, she hates and even fears him to a degree. But for the same reason he's into her, she's also attracted to him. It starts as a sexual thing for her, she's turned on by him during a fight when he's winning and pinning her down. (To humans it's weird but for dragon's it's natural. It's this mating thing where the female will wrestle mates until she finds one who can best her.) But Nor isn't suddenly like 'wow yes love that' no, she HATES it, and she hates herself for having those feelings, but she's unfortunately just reaaaally horribly turned on by him from there on out, despite still hating him. Nor is also very lonely and hurt, and deep down desires connection, even if it's negative, her connection to Reverich becomes a complex mix of hate and love. She also doesn't like to think about all the traumatic things she's been through. When she fights, the bad thoughts are drowned out, and she can take out her anger on a target. Reverich encourages this, he wants her to go full beast mode and forget about everything else but this moment. -Drak
