Stationmaster 2 0.10 Draft Design: The Rest of the Character Engine
🕑 Added 2025-01-22 00:31:38 +0000 UTCNow that 0.9 is stable, it's time to announce the next patch. I wasn't happy with the characters, but I needed a lot more time to think and research. Thankfully, the (very long) last patch gave me plenty. It's already a massive improvement, and I think this is going to bring the whole system up to what I had hoped it could be. This should be faster than the last two patches, because it's mainly tweaks to what was already there.
Design
New Faces
Faces have been redesigned from the ground up. Gone is Ms. Potato Head. There are now hundreds of completely separate faces instead. They look much better and more distinct, with a full range of ages, skin tones, face structures, and subtly individual expressions.
New Body Parts
I've already re-made all of the body parts. I can't show much in a public post, but I'll do a patrons-only one separately with NSFW screenshots. It's all much better than it was. Body types will also vary with stats, with people gaining visible muscles or slimming down during training.
Clothing
A full set of clothing items, with integrations into events and markets. These can be put on or taken off (partially or completely) in the inspection screen, or managed through the rules assistant.
Mod Support
There are more tastes than I could possibly fit in a download, so I will be including all of the workflows and source images I'm using, and tuning them to be as automated as possible. The goal is for you to be able to load one up in ComfyUI, type in any prompt you want, and have it generate a face, hairstyle, or clothing item you can immediately use in-game.

This patch will also include little tweaks, like having the characters (and their jiggle physics) react to the mouse. There's a lot more, but that'll have to be a surprise.
I might also start running fashion contests when it's set up. That sounds like fun.

I'm guessing this is a bug. I've used prison/spa mix or spa exclusively in raising obedience for slaves. At some point in play, the slaves CON score drops to 0 and cannot be raised, even by using the pool. I've checked this with slaves previously in use, and once they reach "Devoted" in spa or prison/spa combo, CON goes to 0 permanently.

What's the plan for sex scenes? Is there going to be more variety / training via sex, etc, something akin to Stationmaster 1?

I'll do another post about that, but the new expressions are already much better and more varied than the old ones.

If it's possible. I would request to add more expressions to the faces during sex etc. not sure how possible it is with your engine

First is a bug. Thanks for reporting! I'm not exactly sure about the second. Not this patch though.

Couple questions - one of my minions requested to be in the p*rn studio when I believe that was removed? I accepted her request and put her in the brothel. The other question is pregnancies... when are they coming back?

I second more decks, or at least remove water from administrative. Even though it looks great, there is not enough space late-game.

im happy to see the change, i got bored of all the previous faces pretty much all being the same i look forward to the next update release

Maybe in 0.11 can you add the ability to purchase more decks. Please get rid of the walls in the pleasure deck if your not going to allow more decks.
