I myself love sandwiches and burritos too much to choose a side QwQ There was something I was hoping the debate would touch on, which is the methods / ease of toasting bread vs warming up tortillas, however maybe that is not a big enough consideration, who knooooows :d

Listen... here is another point for argument... I have had BLTs that when I take a bite, the lettuce pulls with it or the bacon does.. so the last bite is just mayo and bread.. and yes, that happens to burritos, where the last bite is just tortilla... But wouldn't rather have a delicious tortilla all by itself, soaked in the juices of the burrito compared to soggy mayo bread? However, I also have a collection of TACO and BURRITO items so my opinion is EXTREMELY biased.

I have never had a burrito’s insides come out, but when eating a sandwich have to constantly turn it to keep everything in, but also burritos are more random and sometimes you have more cheese on one side! They are both same same but different.

Freddie, I submit to you that dumplings are an entirely different category of Carbs-Around-Filling, since the wrapping is cooked along with the filling, unlike in most sandwiches or burritos. Furthermore, I contend that structurally the burrito is the midpoint between both the dumpling and the sandwich.

I deeply admire matt as a roleplayer, comedian, writer and improviser but his food opinions are so wrong lololol. Bringing up the caloric content of burrito wraps was the most shameful moment tbh. It suggests that sandwich bread is nothing, not even part of the meal, uou might as well be eating it with cardboard… which ofc is not true but part of the goodness is the tortilla!

I live in New Mexico which is an absolute haven for burritos so maybe I'm a little biased, but the uniformity of a sandwich, where each bite has every ingredient equally, that Matt brought up as a point, I feel is actually a detractor. The variety that is a bite of a burrito is what makes it so amazing, the fact that you can get a bite that's mostly rice with a little cheese, and then the next one is a real meaty bite with some veggies... And then as you're eating the burrito you can start to tell which ingredients are where... You become one with the burrito, it becomes you and you become it. A sandwich every bite tastes the exact same, so the first 50% is good and consistent, and the last half is like "yeah okay let's just hurry up and get through this last few bites". It becomes so dull towards the end.
