What’s genius about this from Beth’s decisions is that she had to first hand deal with Willy as Ron. She understands how bad he his but she is playing Scary as an impressionable teenager being manipulated. Is it frustrating? Yeah, but from a storytelling point of view, it makes sense!

The Scary arc is my favorite storyline in two seasons of this podcast. I get the comparisons to Glenn and her just "being the douchebag of the season" but it seems pretty clear to me that there is manipulation from Willy going on behind the scenes that will be revealed later in the season. I don't think they're just trying to write the character as a shithead.

That Patron and Warlock manipulation relationship between them is so so good.
