Canyoneering - Fiddlestick Break Tests

I broke test some fiddlesticks that Scott Koch sent and they bent but broke the dynamic rope at 17.26kn. The static rope broke the fiddlestick at 13.14kn and the dynamic rope broke before the fiddlestick at 17.26kn. I then rigged a highline and tried to derig it from the far side. With some minor changes, I'm sure it could work and be a solution for flash rigs on tower projects. Then I tested feather pro on a fiddlestick wrapped around a bolt and it reduces my webbing down to 12.64kn instead of the 22kn+ I normally would get.

I think I figured I'd use it with a short piece of 10mm static rope connected to the end of the webbing. But this is a very rare and niche use and I just like testing all sorts of ideas even if they go no where. :)
My immediate thought upon seeing that you wanted to use if for a retrievable anchor on a highline is, what if you used a different medium for the fiddlestick. Bar aluminum would be unquestionably strong (I feel like strength is not your main problem), but it would also be more of a consistent pull. I imagine the plexiglass/acrylic is producing a strange friction with the variable edges. I do not do highlines in the same sense as you, so I am out of my depth here. But the problem solving is interesting...so I am wondering if that would produce the "feel-good factor" while also allowing for a more reproducible effect? The other thought is to have some sort of system on the near side to release as much tension on the system as possible (if you did that in this system, I missed it, and I am sorry).
