Maybe. It was technically cold outside (cold to me) and we have done many tests in the hot summer and i haven't seen a pattern of it breaking lower. The melting point of nylon is pretty dang high.
That video made me think. I think that the next experiment should be ropes in different temperature, I think that is why the frozen one was stronger, because the control rope was hotter!
