Hey so I’m here after you traded the TAM, did you ever figure out why it wasn’t booting? It seems pretty hopeless based on this video, so I’m curious as to how your attempts developed after this!

Awesome work. If memory serves you can edit a plist on the cd-rom that changes the list of supported Macs (it’s based on ID numbers, and I just don’t remember the specifics because I did something similar around the early 2ks). Hope some googling might give you some insight. Edit; I found some details in the follow up post

That MacRumors thread honestly seems a little off to me. Idrk much about Old World PPC but I do know that my New World PPC machines will load the installer with the same resolution as openfirmware. So if OpenFirmware is set to 640x480 I’ll get the installer in 640x480 and so on and so forth. But hey again I don’t know much about old world PPC.
