Having had one of these as a child...with brothers who recorded "questionable halloween themed phrases" atop the original cassette audio....I empathize with Teddy on this one.

Hmmm... I was planning to mod my Ruxpin to use a Bluetooth module and bypass the tape deck completely. I wanted to save on the 4 C batteries that mostly power the deck's motor instead of the head's servos. Seeing the mouth hang open and eyes close by keeping it analog is giving me pause. That's too cool. Can you get his mouth to twitch in time with a string bend or the whammy bar? These are the thoughts that keep me from completing any project.
