I have what I think is an identical IPS screen on the way slowly from AliExpress, and it was only $11. So the additional cost for an IPS over the original screen probably could have been even less!

Your mouse not working may have to do with the fact that when the Hand386βs battery gets too low, it loses its BIOS settings. And it defaults to disabling the PS/2 mouse for some reasonβ¦

It makes me wonder what the original screen cost... and why an extra $15-20 on an item like this wasn't justified from the outset?
