The chrome extension only targets D&D Beyond sheets. What's the other tool you'd like to import from?

I know it can import DnDAppFiles (xml) such as these: https://github.com/ceryliae/DnDAppFiles and it can import JSON files, though I have not had luck with this

Does the Improved Initiative importer import character sheets from any other tools besides DND Beyond? I thought there was a list of things that it could import monster blocks from, but I can't seem to find a reference to that.

Player views are a little flaky right now due to a database upgrade. I'm hoping to have it fixed on Wednesday, I'm unfortunately away from a computer the next couple of days. Thanks for the heads up!

Hi, is there something wrong with the site? My playerviews don't seem to respond, they are stuck in the default styling and none of the creatures appear into it, requesting other id's doesn't seem to do anything.

Hey there! I'm having a problem connecting - I'm getting "An error occurred during a connection to improvedinitiative.app. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR" This is through Xfinity. However, if I connect through my VPN, it works fine! Very weird.

Glad to see things are slowly recovering! I've gotten most of my settings recreated at the new URL, fortunately. One minor problem I've discovered in the switchover: I lost my Custom Encounter ID. I'm using a second one for now, but I sure wouldn't mind my original one being made available to me again. :) ETA: Looks like I'm not the only one on this thread who has run into this.

Make sure you're logged in on the app where the importer sends you, and make sure the importer is configured with the right target url https://improvedinitiative.app/e/

The SSL error is occurring with multiple web browsers on several different devices even after a hard refresh and incognito mode. It means that however you generated the certificate, the certificate authority is not recognized. It appears you are using a Cloudflare Gateway ECC Certificate Authority. I found this article on what you need to do to resolve this: https://bobcares.com/blog/cloudflare-origin-certificate-not-trusted/

Does this change impact Custom Encounter IDs used for hosting player views? An encounter Id I was able to use 2 weeks ago from the backup domain is showing "Id Unavailable" for me on the new domain. Easy enough for me to work around, but curious if this affects others as well and whether it's easily corrected.

Thanks for the support on getting the old data. When the old site was down I realized just how much I use this to run my games and how much I store in it. FYI, on the new site, the option to store characters as part of an encounter has disappeared. Any chance it can be put back in?

You really need to find a new registrar. That's such BS. It takes someone 2 minutes to fix that. Do you think if your domain was nike.com that they would be screwing you around? I've dealt with "lapsed" domains many times, and they're generally back up within a day of payment. Nevertheless, I like the new name better. :D
