The 3D printed cam crusher is done and in the mail. I'll be break testing that in about a week. I've wired up the arduino and tomorrow we install the code tomorrow and see if I did it right! Made all the plans for the unistrut drop tower that I'll have at my house for certain tests, but still using the larger one for other tests. The testing I can do with a tracked system is going to be amazing.
CONTENT SINCE MY LAST POST:
Split a Super 8 Knot https://youtu.be/835m1VaqLK0 - this is an experiment to see what I can do with the clips channel as far as supplementing knot videos. If I can use that outlet to chase 1 or 2 rabbits I miss in a thorough knot test video, then I can start doing knots more regularly as they cross all the sports and appeal to the whole audience.
Smashing a carabiner against a pipe https://youtu.be/NsyRmdIknwE - this was also an experiment if I can pre-post a main video and get feedback before spending 20-40 hours putting together a thorough 20 minute video including 30 data points. There are several different disciplines that approach this scenario and it's great to have that feedback BEFORE I hit publish on a big one.

Yeah, they are truly massive. Smartereveryday may sign on with his phantom if you present him with an engineering pitch like the cam crusher. Regardless I can literally not imagine how complex a high speed camera is but I look forward to seeing any footage from one!
They are too big, I've tried. I'll be renting a super slow motion camera this year once I have all lab testers done. It's a lot of work to use those things but it will be some really cool footage.
