Yule had never felt that amount of anger before. He knew despair, fear, etc., but not the wrath of wanting to punch someone in the face, and the fact he just reacted with violence makes him feel closer to Owen. But Owen had a violent nature, Yule doesn't. They're definitely not alike.

Ragnar is so proud of Yule. He may not have claw claws, but that doesn't mean he can't defend the ones he loves. I fully believe that Yule would *only* react that strongly to someone threatening or bad-mouthing others, not himself, which in itself is a huge difference from Owen.

There’s a difference between abuse and a justified reaction, what we just witnessed is the latter. Yule is far from being Owen, he cares more about others well being rather than his own. Which is more than I can say for Owen who’d rather watch Yule suffer.
