this is the happiest update I have posted in a while, isn't it? (^v^;;; I'm sorry for all the drama lately, I really wanted to make an impact on readers. I put a lot of thought not just into the story, but also into the way it is told and the pace. For example, I wanted Todd and Skye's scene to hurt, and it hurts because readers, like Skye, think Ethan's really dead. I didn't want to take away that experience by spoiling that he wasn't, because the moment you find out he's ok is also part of the experience. This has given me a huge headache though (=w=;;; But all in all, it was not as bad as I anticipated. The rate bombing on Webtoon stopped (for now?), I lost Patrons but I earned new ones, so in the end it keeps stable, and I don't seem to have lost readers on Webtoon (so far). This chapter will go live on Webtoon on the 16th September, so there's plenty of time to receive angry reader comments until then (laughs;;;). Please, keep the fact Ethan's ok a secret for anyone outside Patreon ♥ Even if it causes some problems for me as an author, I still want people to feel the experience of the story I wrote, and that means first pain, then joy.
Tomorrow you will have the third and last "Lars the wolf" short story, which tells what happens the moment they left Wild Beast (and how we get to what you see on the pages), and on the 27th you will have the monthly R18 story featuring Nazka x Todd, which is what happens right after page 19 on this update ♥ I've had a hard month because I had to make sure these pages were ready before the monthly scene was released so you could read everything in order. But I succeeded in the end, so I'm very proud of myself (^v^) (Even though I had to push the release date of the R18 scene by two days 💧)
Anyway, I hope you're having a very happy weekend! I'm gonna start working on the storyboard for chapter 22 now.

It's complicated and every character will have their own opinion on Lars for what he's doing. Some might see it as Axel manipulating an innocent soul, but others might also see it as a grown up man choosing to follow a really bad person. He's old enough to make his own choices, just like how he went back to save Ethan even though that bothered Axel (because it put him in danger). He *could* also choose to be a better person to Yule, for example.

We got nazka and tod ily and smooch in the same chapter as confirming Ethan is alive? Must be my bday /j but fr, what a good update ;; and seeing Yule unharmed too is amazing as well ❤️ I am excited to see the reunion between everyone later on, love this found family with all my heart... I hope they welcome Lars into it... I know they are smart enough to know Lars is just following orders like an obedient hound.
