🕑 Added 2025-10-04 16:17:56 +0000 UTCOver the past 2 months and onward, a lot of the funds from this Patreon are going towards finding and testing security vulnerabilities on publicly-placed AI cameras. This has been extremely challenging, as these companies operate in a way where they only "lend" equipment as part of an IP agreement.
Fortunately due to the absolute mess at the import docks with US tariffs, it's possible to find the rare unopened/unactivated unit auctioned off by customs and finding their way to liquidators. This glitch allows me to own the device and, if taken to particular states, do what I want with it so long as I'm not sharing intellectual property stored in the firmware.
There's a lot of big news coming soon, and I'm extraordinarily proud of and humbled by what this channel is accomplishing in 2025. And it's thanks to you. 💗

100% true. iOS store is the worst way to support creators you care about. Pay through the website to bypass app store cuts. Google does the same, but to a lesser extent from what I understand.

I have a question. Another content creator whom I want to support mentioned that I should make sure to pledge my membership and monthly support while using The Patreon website and not the IOS app because, if pledged through the IOS app, Apple takes 30% of my contribution. Is this true? Sadly, I used the app to support you and become a member of your community before I read this guy's recommendation to join via the Patreon website site. I would like to fix this situation so that you are not losing that 30% of my donation every month. Does that mean I need to cancel my membership via the app and then reinstate my membership using the website? If possible, let me know, and I will make the changes if needed.

we don't have flock in UK, but thousands of cameras - you know, 'for traffic', or whatever. I've even been considering placing security cameras outside my home, since the next door's Ring doorbell stopped working when they bumped up against Amazon's new paywall..
