This is the last "fight" between this two, it's official haha. It wouldn't have happened if the Boy didn't get confused with the TV news. He thought Tera lied to him (which he kinda does).
Self note: I didn't put blood on Tera's mask to use the idea later, let's go slow haha. But I think I should have "wounded" Tera a bit more. I'll try to make the following page cute! There are so close-
The fry pan is obviously a ref to Tangled!
A few months ago one of you compared Tera's job to Robin Hood ( a bit more cruel obv), and since this scene was already written, it was the validation I needed, thinking "if they think of it this way, it means they'll understand the Boy does too."

I love the concept of blending the religious references with mythological ones. Personally, even though it might not have a real reason to be based in Paris, I think the dexterity with which the story is able to bend and stretch realty to fit the fantastic into a real setting adds immensely to the magical realism. Cause, you know, in truth, elements like the mafia or ritualistic homicides are not unheard of in the real, "rational" world, but just how far you can imagine their parameters and fit them seemingly with plain realness in unity is the the art of storytelling. :))

Hi Z.Pico, there are a lot of things I'd like to ask you since I came across your comic and literally devoured it in two evenings, but for now I'll focus on the one thing I can't get out of my head - what is Paris in the story and what role does it play? The idea of the story itself is pretty clear to me - Eros vs Thanatos, but it makes me wonder what concept you have for the city? Is it like Gotham for example? I'm super super curious :) And I'd really like you to write more about the story structure :) Ah, I really feel sorry for those who haven't yet known The Boy, The Wolf and The Joris....<3

I just thought of that during the plague priest & doctors wore death mask to visit the ill to perform last rites or giving them death notices. The masks were animals mostly birds. When they were unsure of what was killing them they killed all the animals which made it worse since the fleas were mostly like to infect them first. I think of Black Death being at first the flea to cause the ruckus, they don’t stand out in a crowd sans mask easy to blend in but also the priest in mask to dole out absolution or pence. Just found you this week & happy to support you.

Let me tell you from experience: getting hit with a good old German frying pan made out of cast iron is like getting hit by a truck. My grandparents were victims of a robbery but unfortunately for the robber it didn't end well for him. Long story short: my grandmother hit him multiple times with her good old frying pan. The medic said that his jaw was broken two times. The rest is extremely cute, I mean how Tera is hunching over the boy when getting pushed back and him taking care of Tera, Tera coming back for the boy only to give him his Snapchat number. I am glad those two can't give you diabetes, otherwise half of us would be hooked.
