I love the show, however, I think a pivot from the current storyline would feel incredibly refreshing. I love the characters and stories these past two seasons but it feels pretty fully fleshed out....an extension of Electric bastionland would be amazing for example!

Just wanna chime in on Will's comment on how some of the fun of being a kid that slowly realizes that Santa isn't real, I definitely had that, and it was so much fun! When we were little kids, my bro and I spent one Christmas season "investigating the mystery of Santa". We'd pretend to analyze the "fingerprints" of letters we got from "Santa" and compare them against other letters from our parents. It was lots of fun! Thanks for unlocking that core memory!

Growing up I actually discovered my dad making our Christmas toys through a peep hole in the basement stairs with my brother, my brother is only 16 months older than me, but he still saved Santa for me by doing something similar, he said my dad is our Santa, because he’s really good at making toys, so he contracts some of the work out to carpenters. (I also believe this is why Jesus’ birthday was aligned with Santa- carpentry.)

Immediately went out and got Beth wants the D. Her work deserves a dissertation, but short version, Beth is a genius storyteller, it is so very good and I've not stopped thinking about it. There is a little glimpse into the mind of the person who can think so fast and round corners that characters like Ron and Scary can become all time greats in my life and the light and dark behind that. I can also 100% guarantee that this has and will continue to help people.

I started playing Santa when I was in high school and kept it going with newer costume bits over the years, especially when my sister had kids and “Santa” would show up to drop off some last minute (and often highly requested, similar to Matt with Dorothy’s desire for a cougar stuffy) special gifts every year. This year my 6 yr old nephew figured it out, but wants to keep the secret going for his little sister while he still seems to believe in a “Santa” with the exception that myself and others who dress up are akin to Santa’s helpers. After the brief conversation he and I had about his discovery, he then proceeds to do the little Santa nose tap to me after we agree to keep the secret safe and I swear I almost broke down crying 🥹

So this year is the first year our 4 year old really understands what Santa is, and he hasn't asked any questions because he's autistic and he just doesn't put much thought to it yet. We're gonna make Santa out to be a "spirit of Christmas" kind of thing, and when he finally does figure it out, he's gonna get to 'become' Santa also, if that makes sense. I'm excited for him to help us 'be Santa' for future kids
