Late baby teeth are a thing. When I was 19 and had my wisdom teeth extracted, the oral surgeon removed 2 baby molars in the top that never came out. They were just firmly there, so the adult molars came in behind them. I passed that weird genetic trait to one of my kids, who had four extracted along with her wisdom teeth.
