[Bonus] Kingdom Dad Monster - Ep. 2 - The New Gormal

Join the Nadite people as they struggle to survive their first full Lantern Year in the dark hellscape of Kingdom Death Monster.
After awakening from an unknowable slumber, our naked survivors found themselves under attack from a mysterious White Lion. Upon defeating the foul beast, they had not a moment to grieve their fallen friend, brave Daddy Momma. The first, but certainly not the last to die in their fight for survival.
Our survivors came across a small lantern fire, with twelve other doomed souls huddled for warmth. It is there they founded their settlement. NAD POD.
This is where we find ourselves. The leader Boofo, Hero fo the Hunt, has sent off 4 new survivors to hunt the creature known as GORM and bring back its corpse to feed and clothe the community.
Boofo DiBeppo - Daughter of Boofo Hero of the Hunt, and Momma Daddy seeks to prove she is every bit her father’s daughter.
Momma Daddy - Mother and Warrior, and ready to prove it is she who should hold the sacred orb.
Dr. Jes - They brought Boofo DePeppo into this world, and they will make sure they stay alive in it.
Beth - She’s just happy to be here.
Can these 4 survivors survive THE GORM?
THE SETTLEMENT
Here is a map of our settlement as the episode begins. We will be tracking the growth of the settlement every episode. This wonderful work of art was done for us by Sage Laskaris.
THE HUNT
One day, great woe fell upon the settlement. Unrelenting storms raged overhead. Out of the squall, a giant beast came to gobble up the strongest and most beautiful, then wandered back into the darkness with a lonesome cry, searching for a mate.
THE GORM
Who doesn’t love our baby boy?
Surrounding Gorm at close range will prove to have not been the best idea.

So after listening to episode 2 I was laughing to myself and my wife asked what was funny and I started telling her about Boopo-de-bepo watching Momma-Daddy being crushed and decapitated by the Gorm before their soon to be lover Gorm-Destroyer killed it and how Boopo was just back at camp pondering the orb then when they got back they just started making bone beds and fucking and now I am pretty sure she is in the other room talking to my mother about having me talk to a specialist….

I absolutely adored this episode! After the last one I did some research about this game and picked it up myself. It has been an absolute blast and I’m glad you guys are continuing to play! There were some rules errors that I noticed when listening but some of them could simply just be translating the game to audio and making it listenable. (like how you should have rolled twice on intimacy table because you chose the protect the young principle) that being said I can’t wait for more stories from our brave Nad Pod adventurers!

This series is really well made for theater of the mind. The combat is engaging and refreshing. The comedy of the daddies crew adds something more to the game without taking away from the crunchy number stuff that makes it fun. It is also great because they can play so many different characters and show off fun improv skills. Slam dunk series for sure.
