Yes, it's really a beautiful and heartbreaking book. I think most people stop reading it halfway through and just listen to their classmates call Holden annoying. I'm tearing up just now thinking about it, Holden wanting to sit in the field of rye where the kids don't know they're at the edge of a cliff, catching every single one that starts to fall.
