Not that it matters now but my biggest gripe with this episode was Matt having Beth reroll the monsters roll for no reason. It ended up being a waste and would have drastically changed the direction of this series. Her character would've gone on to kill the marine and live on into the next episode and future ones potentially. I feel her disappointment

Freddie was not suppose to roll. They misread the “Failed Start” card. They initially thought Freddie’s character suffered a Brain TRAUMA, which forces a roll (which killed Freddie’s character with a 2). After rereading the card, they determined it was Brain DAMAGE, which just lowers insanity and does not force a roll.

They might have clipped out a line when Freddie read Finale, but it has an if/else clause that Freddie didn’t read out loud. The if causes a roll which generally gives you pretty decent equipment.
