Might have worked with a video component, even if it was just a slideshow created after the recording. Live Reacts Start Now: In Taash's defense, they ARE only 22 at most. Cole didn't merge with mage!Cole's body, he took on his identity but manifested his own body, not piloting a corpse (ala Kristoff-Justice in Awakening). The Grey Wardens were kicked out of Ferelden during, uh, Cailan's great-grandfather's time for betraying the King and executing an attempted (thankfully failed iirc) coup. The GWs have only been returned to Ferelden by Maric about 20 years before DAO. Combine that with the Orlesian occupation that killed both Loghain's family, friends, uh so many people, that he helped kick out of Fereldan about 30 years prior to DAO, and that the GW who have been sent to Ferelden are mostly from the Orlesian outfit of the order, I'd say as terrible as his *other* decisions during the civil war are, his distrust of the GWs on either level isn't unfounded. I HIGHLY recommend Sebastian's rivalmance, he leaves the Chantry & takes back his throne (which he does ANYWAY before DAI) with you at his side & doesn't insist on a celibate marriage vs his friendmance path. His is the only rivalmance imo that isn't horrifically toxic & mean. I disagree re Spite because it's a foil to the consensual Anders-Justice merge going harsh/bad/ymmv as a nonconsensual human-spirit merge going *well* in that they make a deal with each other that respects each other's boundaries. If you want to "fuck a spirit", let's revisit Cole (and not uwu-babyfy a neurodivergent coded character who's both an adult & if you push him more human ends up dating your bard Maryden by Trespasser). Alistair is smarter than a lot of people both in universe & in fandom give him credit for tbh. Not a genius, but smarter than he's given credit for. Also, he's *19* going on *20* in DAO sooooooo emotional immaturity should be expected lol. ...I cannot picture how Anthony played these games, every tidbit of his experience we learn makes my eyes go wide all over again 😂 "I'm not going to be scared all the time" as the partner of probably the *most* attempted-to-be-assassinated Magister?! Tal-Vashoth Iron Bull is never retiring his axe so he'd be my 3; he's gonna wanna die on his feet, so if you're into that, yay, but if you want what Cullen or Emmrich offer (aka stability), Bull's vision of life is not gonna be for you. Cullen hates being the center of attention, but if he doesn't have to be? I think he'd be willing to do city culture stuff if you want to, cuz he is the kind of guy who, I think, would engage in things that aren't his style because his partner will enjoy them/wants to. This was SUCH a fun episode!
