I'm actually very okay with this possibly going through. Anthony seems very convinced that he wrote his character into a narrow box and seems very unhappy with the possible paths that his character can logically take. There's also feels like a very fitting end for the character that Anthony has built so far, finally feeling like he's done something right by potentially saving his friends. And stopping his evil parents, after all he has nothing really to go back to when this is all over. He has no family that he loves left. As hammered in by this entire episode, he thinks he's a monster. And if his final act is sacrificing himself to save others, that makes him not a monster in his eyes. I also would like to see what other character Anthony would make. And hopefully if Francis does die, the new character would be introduced in the same episode.
