Something silly is you do gain Power after successfully beating a character in a POW contest when inflicting them with a spell. It's a rule in the Keepers Guide that justifies how some casters have such ridiculously high amounts of POW -- basically they've just practiced 😅 I think this rule really would've helped Kelsey Grammar in this episode!! Also Tony would've benefited from the rule in the Keepers Guide where you can regain Luck by rolling above your Luck at the end of each session -- 1d10 points at a time🤞

Second listen through, somehow I half expected a special outro version. More sad and haunting. The whiplash of Esther’s perfect Easter egg to Francis at the end is why this podcast is so good.

I’m running a call of Cthulhu game, and one of my pc’s was really low on sanity, after a bout of insanity where his character lashed out at anything around him he attempted to take his own life, the other characters ended up knocking him to the ground and got the gun away from him, and when we got to the recovery stage that character went to therapy and after some role play had a bit of breakthrough because of the other pcs saving his life while risking their own for him.
