Matt, I'm curious if you ever feel any guilt for losing your faith? I was raised in the church, but now as a queer adult I no longer identify with what I was raised with. Sometimes I am still terrified of going to hell even though I haven't been to church in over a decade. Fun fact: Charles Dickens's children would eventually come to hate him because he humiliated their mother in court when he divorced her. Among other things he talked at length in front of the judge and others about how fat and ugly his wife, the mother of all ten of his children, had become. Charles Dickens did this in order to marry his much younger mistress. On her death bed his ex-wife Catherine gave her daughter Kate a collection of letters from Dickens and said "Give these to the British Museum – that the world may know he loved me once" .
