I live in the United States, and I like San Pellegrino WAY better than LaCroix. San Pelligrino comes from a natural spring and I can taste a trace of limestone. The carbonation feels sharp. LaCroix has a other flavors added, like strawberry or whatever, but the flavors are weak. I wish they were either stronger or not there at all. A strawberry-flavored LaCroix tastes like it's mumbling about strawberries. The carbonation is loose and shaggy. If someone gave me a case of LaCroix for free, I would never drink it. I would much rather have water from my kitchen sink. So I assure you that you are not missing anything. And while I'm on the topic, I think Cadbury chocolate is better than Hershey's, and PG Tips is better Lipton. But, of course, different people like different things.
