That's good to know! I'm leaning yes but I'm trying to see what the family wants to do in the spring and that's a big factor right now. I'm also curious about the Europe tour too!

I wish I could go but it's right in the middle of the spring semester. I love the Medici and Florence is on my bucket list. I hope you'll do some vids about Brunelleschi's Duomo in Florence and the chapel where Il Magnifico survived an attempt on his life. I'm feeling very jelly right now. :) As always, fun safe travels!

Read the layout, looks a lot like the improvements that we talked about were there, plus San Gimignano on the way back from the winery! Us Assassin's Creed nerds would enjoy that! I'm definitely contemplating this one. I couldn't make Egypt work (unfortunately) but this I might (thanks to already planning some of these days off for Appomattox). I'm sure I'll know in a few days.

yep, really just the same problem you get everywhere. No different in Italy compared to say Mexico for example.

Wasn't a big issue for us on the tour last year. I experienced it on my own near the forums but otherwise not a huge issue.

My fiancee and I went to Italy last April. Beware of the hagglers everywhere, but definitely in Rome. At the Castel St Angelo (on the bridge at the front, definitely be in a group and say nothing to them when they speak to you) one was grabbing my fiancee’s arm trying to get her to buy his merchandise and I didn’t realize it in the moment but she showed me several marks on her arm from where he had pinched her. Overall had a great time and will be going back in the future. Have fun!
