[Infinity] Weapon - Hypermace

My favorite kind is Escher-esque drawings with strange geometry (like the Penrose Stairs), but it turns out most optical illusions are bendy lines or grey dots, so there weren't many ideas for this theme. I also really like Gestalt Switches, but I definitely don't have the time to draw full paintings. Maybe a duck-bunny monster?
Maybe I can explore more optical illusion ideas in an illusion or dreamscape-based theme.

This mace's physical state continues to shift whenever one's perspective of it changes. Newly promoted Chronoi Sentinels are often tasked with obtaining an anomalous weapon like this one, designed to grow in power as their rank increases. Those who wield this mace are usually tasked with capture and elimination missions.

Hypermace
Weapon (mace), uncommon (requires attunement)
This magic weapon partially breaches into higher dimensions. Whenever you hit a creature with this weapon, you deal a bonus 1d4 force damage to it. This bonus increases to 1d8 if the target is an aberration or an extratemporal being.
Dimensional Upgrade. If this weapon is refined at a Dimensional Forge, its rarity increases by 1 tier and you gain access to one of the following properties of your choice, provided their requirements are met. The weapon can only have up to three of the following properties at one time, and the GM decides whether you can replace one property with another through reforging. You cannot choose the same property more than once unless otherwise indicated.
- Beyond the Facet. The weapon gains a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls. This property can be gained multiple times, which cumulatively increases this bonus by 1. Selecting this property again still counts towards the limit.
- Hypercage (Requires Intelligence of 13 or higher). The weapon gains 3 charges and regains 1d3 expended charges at dawn. Immediately after you hit a Large or smaller target with this weapon, you can use a bonus action to encase it in a translucent hypercage of force. The target is grappled for 1 minute, and can make a DC 13 Intelligence save at the end of each of its turns. On a success, it escapes the hypercage and ends the grapple.
- Multiplanar Force (Requires proficiency with Arcana or Religion). The weapon's bonus damage increases to 1d8 instead of 1d4, and if you hit an aberration or extratemporal being, the bonus becomes 1d12 instead of 1d8.
