Ah, that makes sense; it's Youtube's side that is the problem. Thanks for continuing to improve this plugin! Your work actually makes this website usable 😂

Thank you for sharing! I'll think about it, currently, there is no way to make it better on the page, maybe add a separate ui view, we'll see. As a workaround, you can use feed by group, it's more smooth

Finally got the update on Firefox. It works great! But I have one suggestion. Would it be possible to have a setting to stop loading the page with videos older than some number of days/1 week? I notice with the new layout YouTube has gotten more aggressive at wanting to "fill" the page with content, but since I have hidden watched videos it has to load 20+ times to finally find enough unwatched videos to fill the page with videos and they are all over a week old. The page is laggy while it tries to fire all these requests.

i was wondering what happened to the marked as watched. thanks so much for this update!

Alright, will do. Thanks for your work.

I'm not sure there is a way to disable it, it'll be hard to maintain. I think it will be better to override my styles on your userscript for specific elements if you want. You can use !important in css

Just got the update and it works in the channel pages again. Thanks! Though there is one minor technical problem: the new version injects a new stylesheet that inadvertently interferes with a userscript I use, such that I had to override the grid rows back to "display: flex". Can you add an option for toggling off the UI style changes for compatibility reasons?

@lbmaian The new version is available on Chrome, try to use it!

@lbmaian I've prepared a new version 15.3.3 with a fix on the channel page. I'm waiting for a review new version. It takes up to several days to approve in stores

Thank you so much for always fixing YouTube's awful design choices!

@lbmaian thank you for letting me know, I'll investigate and back to you soon.

@Lola Lee Beno The latest is available via the link pockettube.io/install/PocketTube.dmg Unfortunately, Apple is not allowing an update extension on App Store, because they don't like Patreon, and want to replace it with their internal payment system. Also, they don't provide a way to migrate current Patreon users to their system, so I decided to host the latest version directly on my site, without the Apple store.

Ah, it's available on the subscriptions and homepage, but not on channel pages. So something in one of the recent updates broke "marked as watched" for channel pages.

15.3.1??? I looked at Safari extension and the latest there is 12.3.4 so I'm way behind. Where can I find this newest version?
PocketTube
It'll be automatically, just waiting some time, currently it's rolling out for all users.

Does it automatically update in chrome or do I have to do something to enable the update?
PocketTube
It's available on extension version 15.3.1

Hi, I'm also not seeing the "marked as watched" button anymore, and I use that function extensively (in combination with another extension that keeps track of all watched videos by polling my YT watch history).

Thanks a lot, that fixed it for me!

Glad to hear! YouTube internally has a way to return the Watch Later button. You should disable Inline playback on the youtube setting, after that Watch Later is back: https://www.youtube.com/account_playback See the screenshot: https://share.cleanshot.com/d1N2MPrT

Great update! Although I'm not seeing the "Mark as watched" buttons appear when I hover over videos. Tbh, I actually never found this button particularly useful to begin with, but what I am actually missing quite a lot right now is the "save to watch later" button, that appears when hovering over a video on the subscription page. Also I would like to request a feature, to have a "save to watch later" button on each video page, since the interface makes it rather difficult and time consuming to save videos to watch later on video pages specifically. It would also be quite useful to have the little "save to watch later" button appear when hovering over videos in other places, such as youtube search, home page, suggested videos, etc.

The new version 15.3.1 is available for Chrome, Edge, and Safari. I'm waiting for Firefox and Opera reviews!
