I remember his story on Graham Norton where he mentions teaching in a language department with good hearing impaired facilities. Perhaps lip reading was part of his training and this round was just him showing off 😃

Yes, this is what passed for kids' TV in the late 80s... (Incidentally the show was called Wacaday, which derived from Timmy's Wide Awake Club, with its theme song ending with kids singing "Weee're wide awake!", hence why Greg said to Jess "Yooou're not wide awake!") Wow Greg was impressive with the lip reading! He was pretty far away as well. I'd have got about two words out of the whole lot. I like the banter between Rhod and Greg with them being mates :) and Rhod being a psycho, force feeding and torturing Alex was great 😃
