I honestly think this is the perfect Taskmaster series. Every person brings something different, the perfect mix of competitiveness and light-heartedness. Amazing tasks and Greg and Alex are both on top form. Easily the series I go back to the most

Psychic Jo was great at that old classic game Horse or Laminator and of course David guessed the first one wrong straight away :D I'm trying to think which episode it was that you mentioned about Greg withdrawing the pity point after the contestant moaned but I can't remember :/

I think with the egg task I would have sat on the chair and thrown an egg into the air.. then got up and caught it.. I technically would have released the egg while on the chair, then I could just walk and carefully put it in the 30 point metal thing for 60 points.. But then I would have to defend it in the studio 🤣😂

A truly great studio task! I googled it, and apparently the chances of correctly guessing a coin toss 13 times in a row is in the region of 8000 to 1! (So maybe Jo does have some kind of psychic power...?) To this day I can't use the laminator at work without thinking of horses, though...

Really good episode. I like this bunch of guests, the chemistry is just right and the balance of people is just right. There's no one guest who sets themselves apart from the group, like Frankie Boyle does in the current series. Everyone's comfortable with everyone else. SPOILER WARNING: I wonder how many Taskmaster tasks have involved an egg? Must be tens of thousands by now. I still think the single stupidest moment in any episode is when one contestant considers injecting helium into an egg to make it float. That was insane - they didn't even consider emptying the egg of its yolk first(not that that would've helped, but still), they were just going to inject helium into it(how??) and hope it floated.
