Like others have said I think it gets better from season 2 onwards didn't vote for it though as its definitely a love it or hate it show

I watched this when it was on TV originally, as a teenager, and found it hilarious. I tried re watching it for the first time a year ago expecting a great time and my god has it aged badly/have I grown up. I was actually disappointed when this was voted for. Turns out my dad was right, Noel Fielding has never been funny. I wouldn't blame you for binning this one and moving on Josh!

I remember loving this show but sadly didn't find this episode funny at all. Hopefully my memory serves me correctly and they get better as the series goes on. Going to stick with it because I love Noel and Julian so much

I remember thinking this show was going to be wank when it was first on in 2003, then I watched an episode stoned. Absolutely brilliant show to blaze to. Shame people can't quite get the humour. I think it might take a little while to really get on the wavelength of the show. It needs a little bit of extra attention. That "Skipper ya psycho get off me! HELP! I'M BEING DISEMBOWLED" is genius. Love stuff like that. I hate that it's been 20 years since this ep aired though. Thankfully we can stop that. If we all concentrate, really hard, I believe we can stop things getting any older.

Interestingly naboo (the shaman) is in fact Noel fieldings real life brother. The show got its name because his brother used to have a huge Afro when they were younger and one of the other children in the street used to say “oh you have a mighty boosh (bush)”. Thought you may like that but if trivia.

I think the main thing you have to take into account is that, at the time, this was seen as completely different to anything around comedy wise apart from Viv & Bob really. Was a breath of fresh air. I don't think it's aged well.

Never watched much of this show, it's always struck me as mostly just weird, but little silly bits of humour hit you in just the right way and it catches you off guard. Things like the way Howard was moving in the boxing place just tickled me

Naboo is either the worst actor I've ever seen or the best deadpan actor I've ever seen.. He definitely only got the job cos he's Noels brother but I really don't know if it was a stroke of genius or incredible nepotism 😂🤣
