I will make my customary recommendation for Succession, a show with a very similar sense of humour and brutal insults, and is similarly populated by complete and utter bastards. More weighted towards drama, but very funny throughout, written by the man behind Peep Show and lots of other brilliant British comedies. It's one of the best TV shows ever made.

Oli definitely leaked the location. He speaks to a journalist saying "I'll have something for you in two minutes" then deliberately walks past that same guy while on the phone to Malcolm suggesting Hackney out loud (the guy even looks up as he hears it).

Rewatch! It was Adam who shouts about getting Malcolm's location. Fergus's assistant, who used to be an editor at The Faily Mail, and hence, has the journalist contacts.

A lot of great acting from pretty much everyone involved considering I ended up absolutely despising almost all of them with a passion 😁 Some of the insults have been great. I've thoroughly enjoyed this show. I didn't vote for it but am glad it won. Don't blame you for having a buffer day between old and new shows to do what you need to do. Thanks Josh.

Oli didn't leak Malcolm's location. (At least not in my reading but I guess its possible considering Oli is trying to be new-Malcolm, despite his saying to the contrary) My reading was Mannion and Fergus's camp worked Malcolm's location out for themselves because as government they had access to which police station could work through the backlog. (Told ya this series was confusing!) As soon as the scene of Glenn's resignation began I got very excited you were getting to see this. His "Peter Finch" moment is legendary, and the comebacks: "He's gone Glenn-tal." That, and Stewart Pearson getting the sack, and Mannion bursting with laughter in front of the camera. Some interesting thoughts on Malcolm 'Graphic Violent Imagery' Tucker and Stewart 'Vectors' Pearson. I'm glad the radio episode, (series 3?), showed us their relationship which was built upon in the episode before the inquiry. Sounds like a day for breathing between shows is a good idea for your health and for keeping your reactions lucid. You put out quite a lot of content as is. Blessings. Also #Misfits

Ollie getting no repercussions for his awful behaviour and getting everything he ever wanted while throwing Malcolm under the bus in the end to get it is so fitting, life in politics isn't fair. I don't believe Glenn was going back to work I think he's done with politics for good, he just decided not to hand himself in. Maybe they'll come for him but he's so minor that him just disappearing he might be forgotten amidst the huge news of Malcolms arrest. The look on Peters face when Stewart gets sacked is absolutely perfect, just sheer delight 😂 I read it that Malcolm deciding not to say anything was he just had no fight left in him. He wanted to have a big dignified end that his long and celebrated career deserved, but that's not how it works and he knows it. He was played in the end he lost, he just couldn't be bothered fighting any more. Also kind of fitting for him as the show starts with him sacking someone unceremoniously, in the end he is as replaceable as all the people he's ruthlessly cut down. Overall I think it's a fitting end for the show and deliberately quite low key apart from the malcolm drama, all these characters are completely unchanged and will continue on the wheel they're on. Love the show, enjoyed watching it again with you!

The film, In the Loop, uses the same actors with different names except for Malcolm. It's directly concerned with the invasion of Iraq, so before this. The writers went on record saying (I paraphrase) its an alternate reality, or separate from The Thick of It.
