Loved this ep. I think it was the first that I saw, funnily enough. Little thing, that Isolation song did the rounds a lot on Facebook at the beginning of lock-down.

I always forget how funny this episode is until I see it again, its definatley where the show started to embrace its more bizzare side which became more prevelant in season 3...plus this episode has coconut hitcher so its always is an extra bonus for me

That's how I felt back in the day. I've enjoyed it more here, which is the case with everything on this channel. This was definitely my favourite of the show's run so far.

God that was an absolutely genius episode. The first third is pretty tame and predictable but the rest of it is just so brilliant. As soon as you understand that they created these coconut creatures out of their own pathetic loneliness, EVERY single normal human interaction they have with them becomes hilarious. The more serious, the funnier, because in the back of your mind is how pathetic it is that this is all happening in their unconscious. The fact that Howard instantly gets abused by his imaginary coconut wife reminded me of the way Rimmer's mind turns on him in Better Than Life in Red Dwarf. He can't bear being happy, his mind won't accept it.

One of the best episodes for sure. One of the most surreal, but it's brilliant. The twist of the coconut creations actually being sentient is hilarious.

I briefly sang in a band called "Milky Joe and the Coconuts". The name later changed to "Barry Scott and the Cillit Bangs". Dunno if you've seen that commercial. Those were the days 😂😂

I watched all Boosh back in the day and though I thought it was ok, it wasn't really my thing. I DO remember finding this by far the best episode! Was fun rewatching it after all these years! :D Great reaction, man!
