What is a better system than voting lmao. it's the most fair. you small group of complainers are all ranting and raving in the comments but its like 10 of you when this show got way more than just 10 votes. youre just making it seem like youre the majority cause youre crying in the comment sections. I didnt even vote this show I would've rathered still game win the poll. but im not sitting crying about it am I. Its a fair system the majority would rather watch fresh meat than still game. You aren't more important than all the other people. get a little bit of a grip

I'll give this a bash I guess. Never seen it, would've preferred Misfits or a more old school sitcom as we haven't had one for ages. Just mockumentary style comedies, dramas or more recent shows which aren't always my cup of tea. Would like to see something more classic to keep variation. However it's actually an ideal time to start a comedy about Uni freshers as the new year is about to begin. People are also raving about Jonathan Creek but it just always seemed a bit dull to me?

Meh. I watched the first 2 or 3 episodes when it came out while I was actually in my first year of university myself (as a mature student in my 30's which I regret as I hated it). I didn't think much of it but will try it again.

The shows that are being picked are the shows with the most votes. I keep asking for a better system than votes, but no-one says anything because the system they really want is 'vote for what I want or else'.

Very true. I just find that most of the shows recently I've either never seen, seen only an episode of, and/or are not to my taste. I'm a fan of Black Mirror but one or two episodes didn't grab me and I've yet to see the 6th series. I don't wish to watch it for the first time as a reaction. I know some do but that's not for me. The comedy has been fairly niche as you say. I'm not into overly surreal silliness at the end of the day. I have a dry/macabre sense of humour so prefer that. Boosh especially is not even remotely my cup of tea. Jonathan Creek would sate me and there are one or two on the short show poll that might come good for me so we'll see...π

I feel you. It seems like I havenβt watched Josh react to anything that wasnβt Taskmaster for months. But I also have to accept that he canβt please everyone and itβs a democracy vote. Itβs just the way it goes, I guess.

I agree, theres so many more above the medium shows in the poll its really not great in my opinion

The problem is that the majority of people presently like niche shows. This is probably the the least varied schedule I've seen on here. There had previously been a mix of mainstream and niche series. There are quite a few people that have been missing from the comments sections. Including yourself. This can only be down to content. On top of that 52 people have left entirely since July. The worrying thing is there are still many more minority interest shows on the list's. If you watch every show 6 days a week there is a problem. Conversely if your not watching any shows in a given week that's also a problem.

Yeah, this run lately of current or recent shows that are incredibly popular and have run for multiple seasons is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Edit: not sure my sarcasm was picked up on.

Completely different kind of humour but Fresh Meat feels like an Inbetweeners spin off to me, sort of what happened to Simon when he left for uni.

I saw the very first episode of this years ago and it was OK! I generally only watch reactions to shows I know very well because to me that's the entire point of watching a reaction but I might break this unofficial self-imposed rule of mine as I haven't regularly watched anything of Josh's for several months! I will continue to support as I know something will come round but it's been a bit barren for me for some time here... π Jonathan Creek has almost won for longer than I care to remember. Ideal show for me and I know it inside out. Josh would absolutely love it too, I'm sure! One day...

Yes!!!!! You're gunna absolutely love this show, I just know it, its from the makers of Peep Show and accurately portrays University life in the same way Inbetweeners did with 6th form
