For the reason I just said it isnt together. Wallace and Gromit arent series to begin with 🙃 they are mini movies. It is the final one and he has done several specials that are long so its fine

Glad you enjoyed it 😃 Wallace and Gromit have become British icons in their own right ❤️ They often show the films on TV at Easter, Christmas, etc - in fact, the next one, The Wrong Trousers, debuted in the UK on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas Day) 😊 There’s even an indoor ride based on it at one of our theme parks, and the cars you ride in are Wallace’s slippers 😂 The first scene you go past (when it takes the photo) is Wallace saying “Cheese! We’ll go somewhere where there’s cheeeeese!” 😆 If you’ve ever seen Chicken Run, then that might be why it looks familiar - it’s made by the same animation studio, Aardman Animations.

I remember being sort of "meh" on this as a kid in the 90's. I think I only saw it in 1993 when it was put on to promote The Wrong Trousers, so I'd be 7, although it'd been out since 1990. Watching back, I can completely see the charm and the warmth of the episode. Especially empathising with a big oven on wheels and their shrieks of panic that they want to come to earth and go ski-ing. Poor droid.

This and Thunderbirds are a British institution! It's so amazing! The voice of Wallace Peter Sallis is in a show called "The last of the summer wine" which is also a great show!

Haha, really glad you liked it! I think I am alone, but I think this is my favourite W&G! I just love how simple and.. 'unclean' the animation is here. It definitely looks a lot more pro after this, but it is still just as charming! :) Haha, I was wondering why Wallace put more money in, I think maybe he thought the bat the machine swung at him was the 'thing he paid for' maybe? XD That may be a stretch!

Yep, the next one is my favourite 😁 Without spoiling it for Josh, that chase scene at the end is phenomenal! How they made it blows my mind! Gonna have to see if there’s any BTS/making of videos of it!

The bluray collection does not have Curse of the Were Rabbit, you'd have get that separate. Its produced by a different company, so they cant be released together. The bluray does have some cool "making of " bonus features too

Theres also a Wallace and Gromit game called Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures . I highly recommend that. It's a game they teamed up with Telltale for, it's a click and point adventure with new stories. Very true to the Wallace and Gromit style. You can get it for PC. It's on Steam too

Aardman does have it's own look. I think you saw a few clips from Creature Comforts that you reacted to years ago, that's another one of theirs. And ofcourse Chicken Run

Such a fun, charming, clever series. Love these. My favourite episode is The Wrong Trousers which I believe is the second episode. All of them are so inventive and entertaining though! 😃

Wanted to be a stop motion animator as a kid and the early Aardman stuff was a big part of that (although as others have said Nick Park started this as a student before he joined Aardman). Creature Comforts, Rex the Runt and Angry Kid are worth checking out too - although they’re all shorts so for reactions you’d probably want to watch 3 episodes at a time. Other Aardman sere

Nick Park had animated the first ten minutes by himself at his film school and that had taken him two years. From when the rocket is already in space to the end, that was done at Aardman Studios. This film took Nick nearly seven years to make because while he was doing this, he worked on other projects at Aardman, including the Oscar winning short ‘Creature Comforts’.
