I may be showing my age, but my dad got my brothers and I a bunch of mythology books when he saw we watched Ulysses 31, an anime that put Odysseus' adventures in space in the 31st century. It all goes back to anime.

Now I had to look up how many months in the Attic calendar, found out there were 3 of them, festival with 12, democratic with 10, and an agricultural one based on seasons. Then there's the legendary Roman calendar with 10 months, the Republican calendar with 12 and so on... Calendars are complicated things.

SPACE was an acronym, I can’t remember what it stood for, but essentially it was the gifted student class. It was SO MUCH FUN, they let us do puzzles and taught us about cool shit like Greek Mythology. I was pissed i didn’t get in until 5th grade. My friend Rebecca made it in in 4th and I was like...uhhh...I’m def smarter than her, can I be in this class plz!?! I wonder if parents had to pay for the IQ testing bc that would explain why I didn’t take it for so long bc my Dad is notoriously “frugal” haha

I did watch those haha but I got into Greek Mythology during SPACE class in 5th grade. They taught us all about that shit and I was so into it!

from sessions i was told the "original" (Greek) is 6 seeds for 6 months and then after the "unity" or more like absorption with Rome it became.. "watered down" in a way. but!! what do i know 😂😂😂

I've seen various versions, 3 seeds for 3 months, 8 seeds for 8 weeks and what not. Like all ancient stories, there are multiple variations that passed around from oral tradition. Finding the "original" source version is impossible, though some relative dating of the known ones can be done.
